Blurb:

Joshua Dawson is my best friend's ex-boyfriend. That alone
should be reason enough for me to keep my distance. Add in that he's a well mannered, loyal and hardworking artist and I should be running in the other direction.

He's damn near perfect, and I prefer my men hard to love and easy to leave. Josh's only flaw is he wants forever, and for the first time I might want the same. But loving someone doesn’t mean you deserve them.

He's all I want and everything I can't have.

My Thoughts:

Joshua “Josh” Dawson is very creative.  He’s a man who’s very good at what he does but finds it difficult to go after what he wants.  Elle Johnson doesn’t feel she’s worthy.  She seems to give off mixed messages and is very difficult to read.

Male romance authors are not the norm.  But it’s good to see that they are growing.  Some of them do a good job when it comes to sex, sexual tension, and the heat that they create between their characters.  This author has that job down pat.  But some male authors miss the mark when it comes to the romance side of the story.  But not this author – he strikes just the right cords that will grab your attention.  In any good romance there are ups and downs.  And occasionally a male character may have a lesson to learn of when not to insert foot…

Back in the day when I read my first romance, men never penned a romance – or at least admitted to it.  I’m glad to see that our author is now in my list of romance authors.  Romance should not be considered gender specific.  Men can be just as creative, even in this genre, and he does it in spades.  Forgive the pun – give Mr. Chance a chance and you won’t be disappointed.  This is a story that will get you frustrated, get you smiling, and maybe even chuckle a little.  And like any true romance, the ending will leave you happy.

Author Bio:
