Blurb:

Most of the guys in my town had me marked as off limits. My dating history was slim to none, until Dylan. He didn’t let labels deter him from sweeping me off my feet.

The day Avery Stanton took a chance on me is that day my life changed. Nothing else mattered but her. All I ever wanted was for her to be happy. I just wanted to love her, no matter how much distance was between us.

Dylan Knight wrecked me. He made me fall in love with him
and then took it all away. Now I’m back, and I can’t deal. How do I pretend that he no longer owns my heart when all my heart does is scream his name?

Avery’s back and I know I have a fight on my hands. I remember every minute, every touch, every kiss, and every breath of our time together. Now I need to remind her.

My Thoughts:

Avery Stanton has senioritis.  Dylan Knight is a young man that wants to do the right thing but temptation is just too close.  This sounds like a great way to start a book and there were times that I agreed but then there were a few times that I had to go back and reread a scene.  Avery was talking to her bestie but I wasn’t quite sure who they were talking about.  Slowing down, rereading from at least one paragraph previous helped.  But for me it affected the flow of the story.

I did like the fact that the author didn’t make their story an easy one but it was a hard road to travel.  There were times, I guess, where I was getting a little impatient.  It took me a while to get there but I did thoroughly enjoy the ending our author wrote.  So with this book there were good points and some slow points.  Would I read this book again?  That answer would be a maybe.  Would I read this author again?  That would be a yes.  You’re not always going to like every book an author writes but that doesn’t mean you stop reading their work.
