Jake Louvière has gotten the surprise of his
life. Kai Beckett has a reason to shy
away from people. We have all types of
paranormal creatures here and just like a witch the author does a great job of
weaving a spell that grabs a hold of you.
It has mystery, suspense, and plenty of heat.
This is a book that showcases this author’s creativity. One thing an author can do is let their
imagination fly. What better way than to
create a creature that we’ve never seen or experienced before. It will certainly have you wanting to see
where that creativity will take you. And
because this book is really hot – get your fan or air conditioner ready.
You don’t need to follow the series in order to enjoy Jake but there are characters mentioned
here that might be a good incentive to check out the other seven books. It’s a great way to see what the Immortals are all about. But if you do read this book just be mindful
that the ending will leave you with questions and wondering when we’ll be
seeing book nine come out.
