I'm Hunter and this is my story.
Hunter’s job is all about pleasing people. His job also makes it hard to have a personal
life. It’s also so far apart from what
the family business is. Rory has a job
where most don’t apply. As you get to
know her you’ll see that she’s very sassy and outspoken.
This is a dirty, hot, and very sexy read. It is certainly not a book for someone who
thinks there is only one sexual position, isn’t adventurous, or doesn’t like
reading about characters that are more adventurous than you. If you’re the opposite, this just may give
you some role-playing or fantasy ideas.
I found Rory’s choice of a profession interesting, which led me to
wonder how the author came up with that choice for her. This story shows that it’s not what you do
that makes you attracted to someone and also not to judge what they do
either. I think these two compliment
each other. Rory gets Hunter out of his
comfort zone and he knows just what she needs sexually even though she is
something of a free spirit. They have a
way of creating a lot of heat when they are together and that must be why my
screen kept getting hot.
One thing I loved was that they both had issues and that makes
these characters seem more human. If
both characters were “perfect”, I think it would have changed the tone of the
story. I also don’t think that I would
have enjoyed the story as much if they weren’t without their foibles. One thing that may surprise you is who has a
commitment issue but then again, as you get to know them it may not be. Another
thing I loved was that at times it appeared that they are talking directly to
the reader. It’s a way of getting the
reader involved in the story – as if you are there.
By the time I got to the end, I was asking myself when am I going
to get a copy of Prince Arik. What’s nice is that because this is a
standalone I didn’t have to read Arik’s story first in order to enjoy this
one. It also made me realize that I have
another author to add to my ever-growing list of authors to keep an eye out
for. Maybe you liked a certain set of
movies staring Channing Tatum, what a great compliment. You can enjoy the movie and then follow up by
reading this series.
